With the grace of Almighties Lord Ganesha and Lord Rockyview Sri Murugan, the Sri Murugan Society of Alberta has planned the 2nd yearly festival – Alangara Thiruvila. The Thiruvila starts with santhi poojas and continues with every day activities including homam, abishegam, parade and prasatham. Special events include Sabbram Thiruvila , Chariot Thiruvila and Theertham ceremony.
The final day completes with Ganesha receiving a milk bath. Ganesha was taken around the premises before the conclusion.
